Hi there. I am Steve Payne, and my brother is Dale Payne. Our mother, Vivian Payne recently passed away. Unfortunately, there are some final expenses/debts that we were unprepared for. Mom did not have life insurance, or much income in her final couple of years. Some of her remaining finances had dwindled more than we were expecting, due to medical and other expenses over the last few years, and we are left facing a situation where we will need to come up with several thousand dollars to try and settle some things that could negatively impact her estate. I don't want to ask for help, and had already told several I thought we were going to be ok on the financial side, but as we dig into some things related to her finances, we are realizing there isn't as much there as we previously thought. We would have preferred to avoid this route, but we are calling on family and friends, and anyone else who is willing, to consider possibly donating a bit to help us out. We appreciate any help folks can give.
