Hi, my name is Beatrice and I am helping raise money for medical expenses, as well as daily living expenses for my sister, Ciara. On Saturday, September 23, 2023 Ciara was attacked and robbed. Not knowing the extent of her injuries, she went home to rest. The next thing she remembers is waking up in the hospital unable to move.

Her journey began at Porter Adventist where she was airlifted to Littleton Adventist Hospital with a skull fracture and a brain bleed. She spent some time in the ICU and the doctors and neurosurgeons are weighing their options on a treatment plan.

she is currently unable to walk on her own and is in quite a bit of pain. She is worried about her puppy, her home and how she is going to pay for all of this, while sitting in a hospital bed, for an undetermined amount of time.

From what she knows currently, she will be out of work for a minimum of 1 to 3 months depending on how quickly she begins to heal. I thought that if I could possibly help take even a small amount of stress off of her, I should at least try. If we could raise above the goal amount of $15,000 that would be amazing. The bills are surely more than that already.
