On Thursday May 26th my little sister Brittany heard the words my family and many others have heard before "you have cancer." Being a young single mom of 2 teenage boys and fostering a 5 year old with working full time and being the only household income for them, those are words that will bring you to your knees. Let me tell you a little bit about Brittany, she has been dealing with CPRS( Complex regional pain syndrome) for over 7 years now due to a mishap during a surgery that has left her with many surgeries, medical issues, many injections and countless doctor visits which mean missing work and a lot of time missing on her paycheck. She has the biggest heart and will do anything for just about anyone, she loves her job being a teacher at Kid's Haven Child Care and enjoys all her kids along with making friendships with all the parents as well as her co-workers. She has provided her time and support in our Buffalo Community with years of Sunday School and VBS at Zion Lutheran, coached Soccer as well as leader for Boy Scouts for a few years as well. Brittany is the first to reach out, help, support and do just about anything she can for someone or to better our community. So now I am asking if you are able to return that favor to her by helping her out during this very trying time in her life, as she will need surgery and will be out of work for 6 weeks. We know this is a very trying time for everyone right now but the smallest donation will help her and the kids out greatly and allow her to focus on beating this cancer and healing rather than how she will be able to afford her monthly bills without being able to work.
