Help with Lori’s medical bills & living expenses
Donation protected
Hello everybody, I work with a great hair stylist and awesome person named Lori Hall. In April, Lori went into the E.R. with what she thought was a swollen gland on her hip.
Exploratory surgery was performed, the bump was biopsied and came back positive for squamous cell cancer that had spread to the lymph nodes.
This took all of her friends and family by surprise. This was the last thing anyone expected.
Once discharged, Lori got back to work on limited hours and filed for help from the government. She was put on “pending” status until late June when she needed to revisit the E.R. because of complications with the incision from the first visit that caused her leg to swell up.
After more testing, doctors found a blood clot in her leg. After taking care of the blood clot, the plan is finally set for four rounds of chemo and a radiation treatment. Hopefully the tumor will then be small enough to remove surgically.
Lori will be out of work for many weeks and possibly months on her road to beating this cancer. She needs some help right now. Help with doctors or specialists who won’t take insurance, help with living expenses with little to no income coming in. Just until she can get back to work.
Any donations are truly appreciated and will surely get put to good use on medical bills and living expenses. There many who care for Lori and for good reason. Everyone needs help once in a while, this is her time for some help. Thank you very much for reading her story.
