Suddenly, on April 6, 2020, we said goodbye to Adilson Junior Gaivota’s physical presence, when he was at the age of 39. However, it was not the moment of death that touched us the most, but the life he lived and what he left within us. There are many messages of affection sent by hundreds of people during this time. Friends, acquaintances, and family members, many who had never spoken to each other before got together at this moment, having deep conversations about the memories and how much we already miss this dear soul. It was at this time that stories from all corners emerged from people telling how much Junior helped them. There are countless reports of small and large gestures of love and charity that he made. I would have to write many pages to tell all these stories. He'd stop his life to help others, take them wherever they would like to go, bring a gift, give a helping hand when needed, say “ótimo dia” (what a great day), just as he was always ready to laugh, talk and philosophize about life, with all his intensity and joy. Better saying, he didn’t stop his life to do all this, the truth is that this was his life. This is Adilson Gaivota.
We are all inspired by the actions of friendship, love, and charity of this friend who is so special for us. I invite you, reader, if you feel called, to be inspired as well and to help his family to pay for all the expenses. We all thank you.

De maneira súbita, no dia 6 de abril de 2020, nos despedimos fisicamente de Adilson Junior Gaivota, aos seus 39 anos de idade. No entanto, o que mais nos marcou não foi a hora da morte, mas a vida que ele viveu e o que deixou dentro de nós. São muitas as mensagens de carinho enviadas por centenas de pessoas nesta hora. Amigos, conhecidos e familiares, muitos que inclusive nunca haviam se falado anteriormente, se aproximaram neste momento, conversando profundamente sobre as lembranças e a saudade que temos dessa alma querida. Foi nessa hora que histórias de todos os cantos surgiram de pessoas contando o quanto Gaivota as ajudou. São inúmeros os relatos de pequenos e grandes gestos de amor e caridade que ele fazia. Eu teria de escrever muitas páginas para contar todas essas histórias. Ele parava a vida para ajudar os outros, levá-los onde quer que fosse, trazer uma lembrancinha, dar uma força quando preciso, dizer “ótimo dia”, assim como estava sempre pronto para rir, conversar e filosofar sobre a vida, com toda a sua intesidade e alegria. Melhor dizendo, ele não parava a vida para fazer tudo isso, a verdade é que essa era a vida dele. Esse é o Adilson Gaivota.
Estamos todos inspirados pelas ações de amizade, amor e caridade desse amigo que é tão especial para nós. Convido você, leitor(a), a se inspirar também e a ajudar a família dele a arcar com as despesas se você se sentir chamado(a). Todos agradecemos.
