Hi, I am Joe Petronis, a former Wells Branch MUD Board president. It is with a heavy heart that I write this. The current WB MUD Board president, Janet Maxey, has had many health issues over the past few months. Unfortunately, on Thursday, December 29, Janet passed away. We set up this GoFundMe to help with her end-of-life expenses.

Janet has been a fixture in Wells Branch. She moved here in 1993 and became the 1st employee at the Rec Center. She has served on the MUD Board for the past 18 years. Before that, Janet was very active in Wells Branch. She was an Armada Swim Team Board member for 8 years. She also served on the WBNA Board and the McNeil High School PTA Board.

Janet strived to attend as many WB community events as she could. She could be found faithfully helping at the fishing derbies, Easter Egg Hunts, Dog Days, National Night Out, Luminaries, FourthFest, and countless other events.

We will miss Janet and all that she brought to the community.
