Our friend, Ms. Willie Mae, has recently experienced some significant medical challenges and we are hoping the Auburn Family can jump-in to help her a little in her time of need. For anyone associated with the Large Animal Teaching Hospital, Ms. Willie Mae is a bright, smiling, light in our day. As our primary orderly, she interacts with all areas of the hospital and is truly a valued member of our team…not only in how she helps us and our patients, but also as a calm and supportive friend when you need someone to talk to during a busy day. She always has a smile for you when you have a bad day and willing with a helping hand. She is the heart of the hospital and the true epitome of being part of the Auburn Family.

 Several months ago, Ms. Willie Mae experienced a medical emergency which was promptly addressed by her doctors, but unfortunately, she has experienced many setbacks and challenges in her recovery resulting in prolonged stays in the hospital. During these months she of course has been unable to work, and we are hoping that this fundraising effort can help provide her with some support for her past and future medical care, and support her while she continues to recover and cannot be with us here at the AULATH. Ms. Willie Mae has helped so many people and animals here at the AULATH over the years and we hope we can do the same for her!
