Helping Whitney due to Kidney donation

My friend Whit decided to do one of the more selfless acts a person can do. She decided to place herself on a donor list, was contacted and is a kidney match to a 23 year old male in New York whom she does not know. He has been very sick, and this would be life changing for the young man. Her surgery is going to be in Cleveland, Ohio on February 23rd of 2021. She is required to stay in Cleveland from February 16th to roughy March 12th. Well now is the reality of all that it will take. She lives in Florida and has to drive to Cleveland, pay for room and board, food, bills at home, completely out of pocket, all with no income coming in during this time. Normally the process of donating is not a difficult one, but currently with COVID things are just a little extended. You have to know this woman and her life to fully understand how amazing and giving she truly is. She has been through her share of tough times. Instead of letting them get her down, she has turned it into fuel to help others. She donates time twice a week at the food pantry where she lives, never says no to helping someone out. Now it’s our time to help Whitney. Please, anything you can give would be so appreciated and all money received that is not used will be donated by Whitney to the Transplant House of Cleveland!
