Helping Wendy Beat Uterine Cancer

Hi , My name is Mary Denton I am organizing this fundraiser on behalf of my friend Wendy Cimo. I have known Wendy for 15 years. She is an amazing person she is always helping people out . Supporting kids with school, sports fundraisers donating , or adopting families for the holidays. Wendy is also very passionate about helping out the Marine Corps as her father was a marine. She is an associate life member of the Marine Corps League Detachment #2. Anyone that knows Wendy knows she goes above and beyond and puts in 100% effort in everything she does. She would give the shirt off her back .

Wendy was diagnosed December 2023 with Uterine Cancer ! Like anyone you hear “C” word coming out of your Drs mouth your world changes in a flash. This past January Wendy had surgery at Albany Medical. March 13th she will begin her treatments at CR Wood Cancer Center .

Wendy lives alone with her Rat Terrier puppy KAI

she has been extremely overwhelmed with all the medical bills coming in as you can imagine. Which has been extremely stressful and overwhelming. I’m hoping this will help to alleviate some stress for her . I keep telling her she is to rest and to kick Cancer to the Curb to put it nicely!

Wendy worked at the Glens Falls Country Club for 22 years at “The Well” She always said her job was to keep the members and their guests happy. She absolutely loved the well and the members. Wendy is not one to ask for help so I am …..

Wendy has Grade 3 Uterine Cancer and needs our support. Any little bit will help and I know she would be appreciative. She would also love to read any messages or words of support. Wendy wants to be an advocate for Uterine Cancer Awareness and she is looking forward to having a walk team in a local Cancer fundraiser this summer she calls her support team “Wendy’s Warriors “ and calls them all her superpowers.
