A dear friend of our family, Vicente, passed away yesterday, February 12th of "Burkitt Lymphoma". I am kindly requesting your help in raising funds for the family he left behind. Vicente Vega was an amazing son, brother, husband, father and friend. He was 46 when he died and left behind Berkis, his wife of 24 years, and his two daughters Jennifer, 16 and Janelle, 12. He also supported both of his elder parents, Eva and Vicente Sr.
The family has been living modestly, on one income, since Vicente began his aggressive treatment to battle the cancer. They have been struggling financially to make ends-meet ever since. The emotional and financial impact on the family have added to their burden. Therefore, I wanted to create this fundraiser to help them through this hard-time.
I am asking for your help and financial support for the Vega family. Any amount that you can donate would be very much appreciated. Berkis, his wife , will use the funds for funeral costs, medical bills, and any other expenses of the family. I also ask that you keep this beautiful family in your prayers, as they struggle through this difficult time.
