Helping Vince during a critical time
Donation protected
On Thursday June 15th our lives took a turn for the worst. Vince was working up in Happy Jack and suffered a stroke. Austin, his son, was there to get the Blue Ridge Fire department who took amazing care of Vince. He was then air lifted to FMC where they told his wife Vanassa that he had an brain aneurysm. FMC staff did an amazing job inserting the drainage tube to remove the fluid from Vince’s brain but felt he needed a higher level of care. He was then airlifted to St. Joseph barrow hospital where he is at now.
On June 16th Vince underwent brain surgery to clamp the brain aneurysm. The surgery was a success but found out Vince had not one but two aneurysms. He is currently in the ICU slowly recovering and will need to have extensive physical therapy when the time comes.
I, Vanassa, have been by my husband’s side through this tragedy. His son Austin, daughter Ashley and her husband Mauricio with their two kids Analyesa and Isaiah are here with their dad/Tata. This has been a difficult time seeing my husband in this state and we appreciate all the love and prayers we have been receiving. As Vince was our primary source of income I am trying to balance working and being here for him. As our family travels down this long recovery road with my husband we are asking for any donations to help with travel and medical cost. Please continue to keep Vince in your prayers as we take this day by day. Thank you and God bless.
