Hi! My name is Sarah, living with my wife Ashley. We are Transgender Women trying to live a decent life.

After a lifetime of pain & abuse, I finally found myself at age 26. However, life continues to be a struggle two years later, worse so.

I've been striving to find friends, find community. I moved across my home state for an ex-boyfriend who ended up hurting me badly, and I haven’t really recovered in many ways, most importantly for why I’m here: financially. I lost a good job and had to settle for something where I barely get hours, and a manager who harasses me terribly. My wife had to leave hers do to the physical toll, and transphobic co-workers & management.

The increased cost of living is killing us, and I have no savings thanks to my dad opening credit cards in my name and racking up debt I haven’t fully cleared. Finding a different job is proving difficult. I spent 10 months with another partner who hurt me & used me, and subsequent attempts to avoid loneliness only hurt me more until I met my current partner. I’m here forced to beg.

I need a fresh start. I’ve finally made a couple good friends I love, but they can’t help me. We’re all struggling here in the south.

I want so badly to find a good place to live for my wife, my cat, and me. Save for our surgeries, eat normally & healthily. I want us to thrive instead of starving and being terribly depressed.

Money donated to us would be to find housing and help with the horrendous monthly bills we deal with. God willing, I can also get back on HRT, I ran out in March and I feel like absolute hell.

If you are local to us, we are in search of employment with health insurance, so leads are appreciated. I unfortunately do not know how to drive, but my wife has a vehicle. I just own a bike.

On 08/20/2026 my wife attempted to take her own life due to the financial stress & ongoing untreated back pain from a car accident two years ago.

Our eviction notice was issued today. We have nothing left but hope.
