I’m reaching out because life has thrown us a curveball and we are doing our best to keep everything together. Between my work as a caregiver and being a full-time college student plus Blythe’s work schedule things are always a little chaotic but we usually manage to make it work.

Recently our HVAC system completely died. We thought we were covered since we have a home warranty but after the inspection we got some tough news. The warranty is only covering $2,781 of the replacement. While that helps it leaves us with an out of pocket balance of $4,098 to actually get the new unit installed.

We have been working hard to find a way to cover the rest and have applied for home repair loans to bridge the gap but we still haven't been able to get the funding we need.

If you know us, you know our animals are everything to us. This isn't just about us being comfortable because our dogs and cats all need a stable climate controlled home to stay healthy and safe. Without a working system it is becoming really difficult to make sure they are in the environment they need.

It’s really hard for us to be the ones asking for help but we’ve reached a point where we have to put our pride aside for the sake of our home and our pets.
