Hello, my name is Victor, and I am starting this gofund me for my loving father Felix Ortiz. He is a loving husband, father and newly loving grandfather. As long as I can remember my dad has always been a hardworking man and the leader in my family. He spent most of my childhood working to make sure our family was never lacking anything. Even though he might have missed major events due to his work. He would always make it up to us in his own way. Now it is time for me to return the favor.

About 4 years ago my dad went to the hospital for a severe fever. It was in that moment that we learned that he has stage 4 liver failure. His liver is failing not from drinking but due to other medical reasons. It was a very hard shock to our family. My father being the rock and leader of our household for so long. At first, he was told that he only had a year left on this earth. Thankfully from him doing everything he could to help his body and thru the grace of God. He has been able to live 4 years with his condition. But his hard work has only worked thus far. In the last few weeks his liver has taken a turn and the time is getting close for him to get the transplant.

Due to my mother having her own medical hurdles to go thru and my brother being autistic. I will be the sole person to help him thru his procedure. I will have to miss work to be there during his operation and help during his rehabilitation. I am not one to ask for help but I will do what is needed to take care of him. So, I am asking for others help and generosity. To help me with is medical expensive and other financials issues while we wait for him to make a full recovery. Anything will be appreciated and will be used towards his medical bills and any expensive needed while he is healing.

Hola, mi nombre es Víctor y estoy iniciando este gofund para mi amado padre Félix Ortiz. Él es un esposo amoroso, padre y abuelo recientemente amoroso. Desde que tengo memoria, mi padre siempre ha sido un hombre trabajador y el líder de mi familia. Pasó la mayor parte de mi infancia trabajando para asegurarse de que a nuestra familia nunca le faltara nada. A pesar de que podría haberse perdido eventos importantes debido a su trabajo. Él siempre nos compensaría a su manera. Ahora es el momento de devolverte el favor.

Hace unos 4 años mi papá fue al hospital por una fiebre muy fuerte. Fue en ese momento que supimos que tiene insuficiencia hepática en etapa 4. Su hígado está fallando no por beber sino por otras razones médicas. Fue un golpe muy duro para nuestra familia. Mi padre siendo la roca y el líder de nuestro hogar durante tanto tiempo. Al principio, le dijeron que solo le quedaba un año en esta tierra. Afortunadamente de él haciendo todo lo posible para ayudar a su cuerpo y por la gracia de Dios. Ha podido vivir 4 años con su condición. Pero su arduo trabajo solo ha funcionado hasta ahora. En las últimas semanas su hígado ha dado un giro y se acerca el momento de recibir el trasplante.

Debido a que mi madre tenía sus propios obstáculos médicos por los que pasar y mi hermano era autista. Seré la única persona que lo ayude con su procedimiento. Tendré que faltar al trabajo para estar allí durante su operación y ayudar durante su rehabilitación. No soy de pedir ayuda pero haré lo que sea necesario para cuidarlo. Por lo tanto, pido ayuda y generosidad a los demás. Para ayudarme con los costos médicos y otros problemas financieros mientras esperamos que se recupere por completo. Cualquier cosa será apreciada y se usará para pagar sus facturas médicas y cualquier costo que necesite mientras se está recuperando.
