On August 31,2020 one of my best friends husband passed away. Mika was a very kind and humble man. He will be dearly missed. Mika Aoelua is survived by his wife Sina Fatu-Aoelua and 3 of their four children, Sevina Tovale Fatu, Tui Aoelua and Tyson Fatu. On July 6, 2020 tragically their daughter Salote Fatu passed away. Sina is caring for and raising two of her grandchildren. I can't explain the amount of devastation Sina and her family are going through right now.
My name is Diana Vichare and I have been friends with Sina for 4 years now. I was introduced to her by my husband. Short funny story, in light of everything else. He would give rides to her to get to work, which she worked at the corner store by our home but lived far from us. Naturally the question arose, who are you giving a ride to, which woman??? So, we met and we became friends almost immediately. Now she is my best and very dear friend.
While we may not be able to take away the emotional pain from her and her family, we can come together to help with the financial burden they are going through. 100% of the money donated will go to Sina Fatu-Aoelua. It will be used for funeral and burial costs.

On behalf of my Siblings and Mom, I’d like to thank you all for taking the time out to read our humble message.
For those who do not know our situation here it goes. We recently lost our sister 2 months ago on 07/06/2020 and as tragic as that was, it DID NOT prepare us for the loss of our Dad on 8/31/2020.
Life has taken an unexpected turn and with our dad gone it’s much harder on our mom. The only “good” thing that came from our sister’s passing is that we know she’s in Heaven with our loved ones gone ahead and now our Father and we have inherited her two beautiful precious babies and with that the financial weight has become overwhelming.
Due to Covid 19 we have been out of work and have spent every penny we had on our beautiful sisters funeral. Just when we thought we were going to move on and pick up the pieces our lives, we were shattered once again with the sudden passing of our Dad.
Never in a million years could we have dreamt up such a nightmare of losing our sister AND our dad within 2 months of each other. We are so heartbroken and we find ourselves at a roadblock and are asking for your help please. You should know that this is NOT something our Dad would have approved of as he always took care of everything, it even took us a lot to convince our Mom to go with this. Please know that this is our last option in order for us to properly lay our Dad to rest. Dad didn’t qualify for life insurance because of his many health issues.
The total cost is $24,900 and with all of our resources put together we still have come up short. We are humbly asking for $15,000. We have until September 20th to raise this amount since his funeral service has been set for the 24th.
We know these are tough times with this pandemic and truly apologize that we are having to ask you. Please know that anything you can help with means everything to us and will be graciously appreciated!
