It is with heavy hearts that we share the heartbreaking loss of Le’Miya, the beloved 15-year-old daughter of Alexis Jackson and twin sister of Niya.

Le’Miya was a true warrior who displayed unimaginable strength and resilience throughout her life. Born with severe medical complications, she bravely endured 217 surgeries and underwent dialysis three times a week.

Despite the countless challenges she faced, Le’Miya remained a bright light—loving, strong, and full of spirit.

Sadly, Le’Miya passed away from end-stage kidney failure. Her passing has left an indescribable void in the hearts of her mother, her twin sister Niya, and everyone who was blessed to know her.

Throughout Le’Miya’s life, her mother Alexis stood by her side—sacrificing her own career to provide full-time care, navigate constant hospital visits, and give her daughter the unconditional love and support she needed.

Due to Le’Miya’s complex health issues, she was unable to qualify for affordable life insurance. Her condition caused insurance premiums to be extremely high—far beyond what Alexis could manage—and in some cases, Le’Miya was even dropped from coverage because of her medical status.

Now, in the midst of unimaginable grief, Alexis is also facing the financial burden of funeral and burial costs. We are asking for your help to give Le’Miya the loving and dignified farewell she deserves.
