Hello my name is Stephanie, My fur baby is a beautiful 6 year old Shepard mix named Yumi that brings my husband and I so much joy since we rescued her from a friend's backyard. For years Yumi has been my husband's emotional support animal since he battles with depression. Yumi is a well behaved loving girl that has never acted up, has gone to dog training classes, and doesn't bark growl or bother anyone or other dogs.

Yumi for years has been constantly harassed by two Chihuahuas from our neighborhood. We do our best to take extra precautions by surveying our block before exiting the house to make sure they're not around when Yumi needs to go out for her walks and potty breaks. Unfortunately Yumi finally had enough, and hurt Mimi and Molly, the two Chihuahuas that had been bothering her... Mimi was badly injured and was taken to an emergency vet hospital, which consists of some her skin being ripped from the muscles due to the attack. Mimi and Molly both survived and are currently receiving treatment.

We have taken full responsibility and ownership of what happened. That being said, we are in the process of paying off the bill which have maxed out our credit cards and has depleted the little savings we had from working during the pandemic . Living in San Francisco and living paycheck to paycheck makes it extremely difficult to be able to help Mimi and Molly through this process, seeing as of now we literally have no money contribute in their recovery process. We are good people trying to do the right thing and be good dog owners, unfortunately we have completely emptied our everything we have in order to make sure Mimi is well taken care of. Please any little bit helps and we want to do what's right for the other family and their dogs as well.
