On August 21, our family received the devastating news that Matt had passed away unexpectedly.

Matt was a loving father to his 15-year-old daughter, Isabella. Being her father was one of the most important parts of who he was, and he was a tremendous part of her life and the support system behind raising her. Losing her dad has changed her world in an instant.

Matt was also an incredibly hardworking and dedicated person. He spent 18 years working for the same company and continued showing up and doing what he needed to do through his own personal struggles and health challenges. He was not someone who was accustomed to asking other people for help.

His death was completely unexpected, and our family was not financially prepared for the immediate cost of his final arrangements. We are trying to give him a simple but dignified cremation and provide Isabella with a meaningful way to remember and say goodbye to her father.

We are asking for help covering the cost of Matt’s cremation, an urn, and the necessary expenses associated with his final arrangements. Anything that is left over will be put into an account for his daughter, Isabella.

We know that everyone has their own responsibilities and struggles, and we do not take anyone’s generosity for granted.
