Helping unwanted bunnies have a happy life. ❤️

My name is Deana, we are a family of 5 that moved to Lincolnshire and took in our first bunny that needed a new home. 3 years later and we have 40 bunnies living their best life, 3 alpacas that needed a new home, 20 chickens, many of which were battery hens and had no idea what freedom and enrichment were, 1 very aggressive cockral named gorgeous George who was dumped in a park and 7 guinea pigs.

All of the animals have names and are part of the family.

We have bonded all of our rabbits either in pairs or big groups, even the ones that have come to us with a sad story and who needed extra help, we know their personalities and who would get on and benefit from being together.

Many of these rabbits were dumped or stuck in tiny hutches, if I can help more to live a better life I will.

Our rabbits are all vaccinated which costs us nearly £2000 every year, we also have special needs bunnies that require regular monthly vet visits.

The cost of vaccinations has risen by over £12 a vaccination, costing over £50 a vaccination, thats an extra £480 a year we have to find.

I would love to help more bunnies that need it, with a view to being able to rehome some, help to bond them so they are paired up ready for new homes, but I won't leave a rabbit unvaccinated because if you don't know myxomatosis is a horrendous death for a rabbit, there is no cure and no living thing deserves to suffer like that.

So this fundraiser is to support the bunnies with vaccinations and support more bunnies to have a happy life.
