Hello there,

 

My name is Michelle, and I am a Ukrainian Canadian living in Montreal with my mother, Oxana. We are currently traveling to Eastern Europe to provide immediate assistance to family members and friends who are crossing the border out of Ukraine and are now in need of help as they seek temporary shelter, supplies, and refugee status. My sister Valeria is in North Carolina spreading awareness through local communities and helping coordinate logistics, travel routes, and shelter options for Ukrainians escaping and relocating.

 

My father Yuri, who is 61 years old, lives in Zaporizhia and is presently in the Western parts of Ukraine, providing car transportation to friends in neighboring towns who were unable to leave the country sooner.

 

My mother and I are using our personal funds to finance our travel expenses. We plan on using donations to amplify our ability to provide supplies and support to family and friends. We are also be providing English-to-Ukrainian translation to help everyone complete any travel and immigration documents needed to temporarily or permanently relocate outside of Ukraine.

• Provide food and emergency supplies to family and friends currently escaping Ukraine.

• Find shelter and organize living arrangements in countries bordering Ukraine.

• Provide Ukrainian translation of English immigration forms and travel documents.

• Help with transportation costs for my father inside Ukraine

• Assist local aid groups on the border.
