Helping Uggy with his recovery. (Christopher Weeks)

Hi everyone as most of you are probably aware there was a nasty accident involving a local biker on Thursday evening after Damerell‘s bike meet it and many of you will now be aware that it was Uggy (chris weeks) that was in the accident.

Paul went up to see him in Derriford yesterday and we now have an update to his condition, we still don’t know exactly what happened to cause the accident, but Uggy is currently in an induced comas and is on a ventilator as the hospital can’t control his pain levels.

There is going to be a considerable recuperation time once he is out of the coma and eventually comes home. We have (via Karen) spoken to Peter Uggy’s brother about starting a go fund me to help with any needs that may arrise after the accident and Peter thinks that this would be very helpful as there likely going to be longer term needs that will need to be addressed during his recovery also.

We are trying to help raise funds for any eventualities that may arrise to help Uggy get back on his feet and eventually back on the bike. Every penny donated will be a massive help to him.
