Helping Turnip The Cat
Donation protected
Hello lovely people, my friend Rachel's cat Turnip is in need of help to pay for a medical procedure.
Rachel and Turnip
Rachel Barnes Jamieson is an early childhood educator that moved to DC a few years ago. She is a warm outgoing extrovert that has made a hobby of collecting friends, but her most important person is Turnip, her cat. She adopted him from an animal shelter back in 2018, and he is 6 years old now! He's a rambunctious little fella that will run around and tell you what he thinks.
Each day is a brand new adventure for Rachel and Turnip. Recently they started to go for walks outdoors!
He still gets a bit overwhelmed though.
What happened
Rachel took Turnip to the doctor because of a swollen lip, and Turnip was diagnosed with Tooth Resorption. It's a medical term for when the immune system attacks the teeth. Eventually the teeth are damaged and will need to be pulled. Turnip, sadly, will have to get a full mouth extraction. That means every single tooth has to be pulled out! That's going to be a huge ordeal for Turnip and Rachel.
How the funds will be used
All the funds that are collected will go to paying for the medical procedure. Please consider donating $5, $10, $20 or whatever amount you are comfortable with to help Rachel and Turnip. Any funds that are leftover will be donated to an animal shelter
