Helping tripaw Rocco walk his road to recovery

Meet Rocco, a 3-year old whippet/saluki cross under the care of Whippet Rescue UK - and he needs our help!

Rocco is a tripawd, and we understand that he was hit by a car when he was a very young puppy (around 3 months old). This tragic accident resulted in him having to have one of his front legs amputated.

According to the limited medical history that Whippet Rescue UK has been able to obtain, his treatment was discontinued after that so his surviving front leg didn't get the care it needed.  It is now visibly bent/bowed - we think this is because that leg wasn't given the vital support needed and puppy bones are soft so deformed as he grew and put all his weight on it.

But we don't know for certain - and Rocco really needs an orthopaedic vet to assess the leg so we understand what we are dealing with and can make sure he gets the right help now.

I would be so grateful if people could help me fund raise to get Rocco the care he very much needs - and deserves. He has had a difficult start in life and what makes me so sad about his condition is that it was totally avoidable. Rocco really is a lovely little chap and has such a happy disposition. He has a zest for life that is infectious and he doesn't let his disability hold him back. Please help make things better for him so that he can have a happy, healthy future.

Thank you in advance for any contribution that you are willing to make. Every penny helps - and this GoFundMe fundraiser page will pay for his care.
