Helping Trattoria Gianni

The State of Illinois has mandated the closing of all bars and restaurants in an effort to minimize the spread of COVID-19.  Trattoria Gianni  has been forced to close our dining room for the indefinite future.  While everyone continues to navigate these hard  times, we share in the concern for our neighbors, friends and family whose livelihoods depend on the entertainment, service and hospitality industry.

We’ve been open for nearly 32 years, and consider our customers family, and it takes a family to get through these terrible times. While our thoughts and prayers are with everyone suffering with this virus, our immediate concern is for our employees and their families who’s livelihoods depend on the hospitality industry. The generations of Trattoria Gianni costumers  have supported us to be in business for over 30 years. We are asking you, to think about the amazing summer nights you’ve spent and sipping wine in our patio, or the cold Chicago nights that you’ve found warmth in a plate of our homemade pasta. 100% of the funds raised here will go to the Trattoria Gianni staff.

We look forward to the day our restaurant is able to open our doors to the public and put everyone back to work.
