Our dear friend and beloved local stylist, Tracey Naples, has recently received a devastating diagnosis: inoperable Stage 4 Adenocarcinoma of the lung, with spread to nearby lymph nodes. While the news has shaken her family and community, it has not shaken her spirit.

If you know Tracey, you know she is one of the hardest-working women around. She pours her heart into her work at Trends Salon in Midland, where she has built not just a business, but a place of comfort, beauty, and laughter for her clients and friends.

But now, it’s time for her to do something that doesn't come naturally to her — to sit still, and let others help, while she focuses on healing.

Her journey ahead will be filled with intensive treatment and time spent with loved ones. We, her village, are rallying to make sure she can focus fully on her health and spend quality time with her family and friends — without the heavy burden of financial stress or worrying about keeping her business afloat.
