URGENT APPEAL — PLEASE HELP US SAVE MORE LIVES

We Need Your Help — Cat Colonies in Roscommon Are Growing Fast.

We are currently inundated with requests to help large cat colonies across the county — some with 20+ cats and in one location alone over 40 cats.

TNR is the only humane solution, but it’s expensive. To neuter, flea‑treat, and worm a single cat can cost upwards of €100. With multiple colonies needing urgent help, the costs are rising fast.

So far this year, Roscommon SPCA has cared for 347 sick and injured animals, with vet bills for the first three months of 2026 already reaching €30,662.

We’ve also neutered 63 dogs and 410 cats, including 108 TNR cats, preventing countless unwanted litters and reducing suffering across the county.
