A friend of mine, Tony Case, lost everything in a house fire.  He was home watching TV when he started to smell smoke and thought it was his neighbors fire pit. Little did he know the battery from his scooter had shorted or exploded in his garage.  When he realized there was a fire in his home he attempted to extinguish it with a fire extinguisher but it didn't work properly. Before he knew it the fire was out of control and he had to evacuate his home and watched it burn while waiting for the fire department to arrive.  Everything he owned was in the house including his cars in the garage.  Please find it in your heart to donate anything you can, even $5 will help Tony begin the rebuilding process.
