Hey Everyone! Mikey and Justin over at Bardown wanted to help our Co-Host Tom Vicario out with medical expenses he has incurred over the last 12 months. As you know Tom is an amazing friend who always puts everyone first, and now we all want to return the favor!

From Tom: "Hello, friends. Twelve months can do a lot to change a person. Sometimes it’s almost unbelievable to me. In May of 2022, I developed an ulceration on my right foot that required several surgeries, resulting in an amputation of one of my toes. As I recovered, the same issues began to present on my left foot - this one being more severe, resulting in a Trans-Metatarsal Amputation of all of the toes on my left foot in November. While I’m fortunate that the amputation on my left foot could’ve been worse, I had to relinquish working full-time to focus on healing - and to make matters worse, I developed a severe staph infection in the left foot wound which required a two week hospital stay and a fairly severe excision which would require the use of a wound vacuum to heal properly.

While all of this was happening, I found myself in excruciating abdominal pain, battling with constant nausea and discomfort. Another two week hospital stay and around the clock tests uncovered yet another road block - I was diagnosed with Gastroparesis, a condition that prohibits the nerves in the stomach from receiving adequate blood flow - in turn causing slowed digestion and quite a bit of pain. Now, I’m in the hospital as we speak, waiting on a procedure that should alleviate some of the gastroparesis symptoms. All of this has, as you can imagine, set my wife and I back financially in a bad way. Only three months into the year and we now have hospital bills mounting on top of the ones we’re still working on from last year.

If you know me, you know asking for help isn’t something that I love to do, but the pressure of money isn’t conducive to trying to heal and get better. I appreciate every single person who takes the time to share this, donate, or pass it along to people who can help. I want so badly to get better, and I’m trying my best to stay positive in the face of the oncoming adversity. I have a long road of healing ahead, but knowing that I have friends and family who are poised to make a difference in my life is undeniably sacred. I can’t thank you enough. I love you all dearly."
