Helping to Support Tyler
Donation protected
As many of you already know on May 7th 2024 Tyler was involved in a very serious accident which has thrown his whole life upside down. As Tyler was coming home a driver pulled an illegal turn in front of him which caused Tyler to be thrown over the cars hood and land in the street. During this time Tyler broke his left wrist, multiple long bones in his right hand, fractured his pelvis, and broke a femur in his right leg. He has undergone multiple surgeries in order to repair the damage to his hands as well as having a titanium rod placed in his leg permanently. The driver of the vehicle has also been charged by the London Police Services.
Tyler has now spent over nearly 7 weeks in the hospital as he relearns the basics such as being able to walk and take care of himself independently. He started the process at Victoria Hospital and has been transferred to Parkwood hospital in order to continue his physio therapy. Since Tyler is self employed it has left him with absolutely no coverage or access to benefits. We have also not been able to get any type of assistance or help from the government which has left us paying for everything out of pocket.
Tyler is an amazing and determined person who constantly pushes himself daily to do better and get back to his old self. The main concern will always be Tylers health but the added stress and pressure of bills can be overwhelming. This fund is to help support Tyler in getting a mobility scooter so he can go out by himself, towards rent/bills, and cover medical expenses.
We can't thank our family and friends enough for all the help and kind words we have received so far! This has been quite the experience but having so many amazing people around has taken quite the weight off our shoulders. We are truly so grateful for you all!
