Please consider “Helping to Give an Angel Its HALO” through your support of this fundraiser for the purchase of essential materials for the Sauk Prairie High School trauma kits.
We are Madeline G. and Isabella B. and we are both students at the Sauk Prairie High School, located about 20 miles northwest of Madison, Wisconsin. As members of the National Honor Society, we are encouraged to conduct an individual service project that fulfills a need within our school or community.
In 2017, the Sauk Prairie School District worked with Sauk Prairie Healthcare and the local Emergency Medical Services to develop trauma kits within the schools. Unfortunately, materials such as the HALO Chest Seals and alcohol prep pads have now expired. Additionally, less than one in three classrooms at the high school contain the HALO Chest Seals.
The HALO Chest Seals and alcohol prep pads are essential materials in the event of a mass trauma situation. As a result of this need, we are conducting a fundraiser running from February 10 to March 26 to help support the purchase of the materials by sponsoring a classroom with a donation of $25. This amount allows for the purchase of a HALO Chest Seal, alcohol prep pads, and a new folder for each classroom.
To express our appreciation for supporters and their contributions, we will honor all donors on the Sauk Prairie High School website and within the school. Every contribution will make an impact, whether you donate $25 or $200. Thank you for your consideration and support!
