I've had the great pleasure of working with Tim Grosse for nearly 3 years now.
We are both gas & renewables engineers for a local social housing provider in Lincolnshire.
Tim is always happy to help out his customers and fellow collegues, and normally with a big smile and a laugh.
Tragically, In the last few weeks Tim and his partner Shelley's lives have been turned upside down.
After a short period of feeling quite unwell, Tim has been diagnosed with terminal cancer of the kidneys, which has spread to his lungs & his ribs.
Knowing that their time together is now sadly limited, Tim & Shelley have arranged to get married on Christmas eve, in a small ceremony in Scampton, Lincolnshire.
I've set up this Gofund me with Shelley's blessing, with the intention of raising some money to help towards wedding costs, buying a few drinks, or maybe a few quid towards a honeymoon, if possible.
Basically whatever they choose to use the money for at this incredibly difficult time.
I know that this year has been one to forget for us all, which also makes this situation even more upsetting.
But, if you can spare anything to help, it would be appreciated beyond all measure.
Whether you're a friend, relative, colleague of past or present, or a even just a friendly stranger with a few pounds to spare, whatever you can find to donate will make a genuine difference to this couple at this incredibly difficult time.
