Helping Through Healing

Hi there, my name is Jamekka and this short story is about my mom.

In the blink of an eye, things changed forever. During a normal Sunday family zoom call, Victoria began experiencing violent and uncontrollable leg convulsions. As we watched helplessly from our respective screens trying to grasp what was happening, we saw her once ever present smile turn into a look of pure fear.

After spending two weeks in the hospital, we learned she has a sizable mass on her brain that is affecting her mobility, and a large mass on her left breast. Upon removal of the mass on her breast and pathology testing, doctors diagnosed her with grade 3, stage four breast cancer. This extremely aggressive form of cancer has also spread to other parts of her body.

Victoria has spent her entire life in the service of others, sharing her passion for holistic healing. In her roles as a Massage Therapist, Nutritional Coach, Mother, Grandmother, Daughter, Friend ( and so much more), she gives herself completely and unselfishly to everyone she encounters. She is the first person to offer support when tragedy strikes and quick to praise the accomplishments of others. For those that know her, she is truly "The Little Soul and the Sun".

Now, unable to walk independently, drive, or work, Victoria needs our help. We are asking you to help her win each battle of this war she now faces. Doctor visits, treatment sessions, and medications are all expensive weapons she needs in this fight. Funds will also be used to cover every day living expenses.

God says he sends his angels to do spiritual battles for us in ways we never see. Thank you for showing up on her journey and helping her along the path to healing.
