Help Me and My Two Children Rebuild After a Tornado Damaged Our Home

On Thursday(September 3, 2026), a tornado came through our area and caused a tree to fall onto my home. I am the homeowner, and the damage has left my family without a safe place to live.

I was not home when it happened. My daughter and her father were at the house when the tree fell, but thankfully they were able to make it out safely. I am so grateful that they were not hurt, because things could have ended so differently.

Although we are thankful to be safe, we are now facing the heartbreaking reality of losing our home and many of our belongings. I have two children, including my newborn baby, and I am trying to figure out how to provide a safe and stable place for my family while also dealing with the damage to our home.

We need help with temporary housing, clothing, food, transportation, baby supplies, diapers, wipes, and other necessities. We also need assistance with the costs of repairing and rebuilding our home.

I never imagined I would have to ask for help like this. This is my home, and it hurts deeply to see everything we have worked for affected by something completely out of our control.
