Helping the Wheten's - In Loving Memory of Matthew

Matthew was a son, a brother, a nephew, a cousin, a grandson, a coach, a teammate, and an amazing friend to so many people in the community. Everywhere Matthew went, he brought a smile to people's faces. His energy and humour were unmatched, and the positivity that radiated off of him spread to anyone and everyone. The Wheten family are beautiful, loving, and selfless, and we would like to make this difficult time as easy for them as possible.  Funds will cover funeral and memorial costs, as well as any additional support the family may need. Anything helps, and we cannot thank you enough for your support through this.  Gone too soon and suddenly, rest in the most heavenly peace, Matt.

The Wheten's are a special family to me, my second family. Mike and Izzy have opened their home to me so many times, and now it's my turn to help them as a daughter-in-law. Mike and Isabelle will be added as beneficiaries to this fundraiser to ensure they are the sole recipients of these donations. The money will be going towards the funeral and memorial costs, personal support services for the family, and any extra money will be dispersed between the community to honour Matt's wishes of giving children a chance to play sports.
