On August 17th, tropical storm Fred ravaged through Canton NC, and unfortunately did major damage to our sweet friends home.
Jason and Amanda West are some of the most wonderful, selfless, and loving people that I have ever known, and I am privileged to call them some of my best friends. Along with their sweet kiddos Brayden, Hank, Cole, and Everly, Jason and Amanda pour themselves in to the people they love and the community they live in. After spending years in the Army, Jason is currently a deputy with the local sheriffs office who dedicates his time and energy to making sure the rest of us stay safe. Amanda and Jason have also recently answered God’s calling on their hearts to open their home as foster parents for children in need in Haywood county. They truly are the best kind of people, and the people who are always there for the people they love no matter when, where, or what the need.
Because of the flooding caused by Fred, the West’s house was severely damaged. Thankfully, the issues in their home are fixable, but without any help from insurance, these issues are insanely costly. They have some major repairs they need to make to the foundation and structure of their home, as well as a lot of repairs outside to try and reverse/stop damage caused by sink holes and their creek being washed out.
We hope that by creating this go fund me we can help them fix these issues and get back in to their home with their kiddos. Please continue to pray for their family- especially their kids that are struggling with fear surrounding what has happened. Please also continue to pray for all of the residents of Haywood county during this terrible time. Thank you!
