Hello, my name is Mercedes Colby.

I'm here to reach out for help in raising money for my grandparents who just lost their home and nearly everything to a house fire Sunday evening on June 4th.

My grandparents bought this home over on Toledo Street in Delaware City back in the early 2000's. Lots of memories, grad parties, birthday's and love in a home that has watched 5 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren grow. Although this is unfortunately not the first house fire my grandma Tammy Webb has went through... back in 1990, when my mother Theresa Frazier was just 13 years old and my uncle Jeff Frazier (12), their home had burnt in an electrical fire. Losing everything they had owned. Then years later, after rebuilding their lives and capturing memories to hold onto forever their storage unit was broken into being robbed of priceless memories that cant be replaced.

But thing's could have been very different if my brother Sabastian Frazier, who was living with our grandparents, hadn't acted fast and told my grandpa about the fire and got out of the house in time before they were really hurt. Thankfully my grandmother was not there, as she is out of town... Sabastian had heard a loud boom and went to go check on my grandpa who was napping in his bedroom up stairs, realizing he was fine he went to check downstairs to see what had happened. He walked into the kitchen and seen that the back deck was on fire. He ran upstairs to tell our grandpa, Christopher Webb, that the house was on fire... thankfully they got out in time and the family dog samson was rescued by the delaware co fire department...

Even if you can't donate, i just ask you please just share this message! For my grandparents, The Webb's and my brother Sabastian. Even donating clothes, shoes, stuff for bathing like towels... anything that could possibly help my grandparents and my brother out would be greatly appreciated. You have no idea.
