With immense sadness, I'm initiating this fundraiser for Mo and his family. I encountered Mohammed Waleed during my time in China as he pursued his journey to become a doctor. His warmth, positivity, and hospitality left a lasting impression on me during my stay abroad.

On November 23rd, an unimaginable tragedy struck: his family, residing in Gaza City, fell victim to a devastating bombing, leaving behind a heartbreaking tale of loss and sorrow.

Our aim is to raise funds that could serve as a humble recompense for the six decades of relentless dedication put forth by his parents and brothers. Now, with everything lost and destroyed, we strive to offer a glimmer of support and solace.

His elder brother, leaving behind a wife and four children, now faces a harsh reality where there is neither a home nor a source of income to sustain them, echoing the plight of the entire family.

Details of the incident from Mohammed, 

"My mother went to sleep in the inner room of the house when the house was bombed, and my family was hit. When the paramedics arrived, my brother went searching for my mother, knowing where she slept. All he found was her left foot with walls closing in on her. They tried to rescue her, but she had already passed away.

As for my brother, he was in his nearby house during the intense bombing. There were many shrapnel pieces in his abdomen, causing severe bleeding.

However, he stood strong until he ensured his wife and all his children had safely exited. Afterward, he sought medical help and spent 36 hours in intensive care. He suffered liver, small intestine, and colon injuries, but unfortunately, he didn't survive, passing just one day after my mother.

My brother's eldest son fell from the third floor to the ground due to the intense bombing. He is currently recovering in the hospital."
