Hi, my name is Aaron Tran, and I’m reaching out during one of the hardest moments our family has ever faced. Recently, the house I grew up in our family home filled with a lifetime of memories caught on fire. After the damage was assessed, the house was deemed a total loss.

This has been one of the most difficult times in our lives. Everything that was lost was priceless not just clothes and daily essentials, but cherished memorabilia and irreplaceable memories that made our house a home.

My mom and sister were the most affected by this tragedy, losing nearly everything they owned. My mom is a caregiver who housed three dependent elderly patients in our home. Despite this devastating loss, she continues to care for them, currently doing everything she can to keep them safe and comfortable while staying in local motels.

In the midst of all of this, our family also suffered an unimaginable loss my sister’s beloved cat, Lunch, who had been part of our family for four years, sadly passed away in the fire.

We are grieving, displaced, and facing overwhelming expenses not only for temporary housing and daily necessities, but also for future housing and rebuilding costs.
