Helping the Strongs' rebuild

Hello my name is Jennifer Donaggio. These two lovely people are James and Emily Strong. Emily is one of my best friends from Veterinary School and those 3 doggos are the light of her life. Emily, her husband, both of their parents and their places of work were devastated by the flooding in Kentucky this week. Their homes were destroyed.

I met Emily at an Avenger's movie and within 2 hours of us meeting each other outside of class she saw me ugly cry and never judged me for it.

Over the next few years we spent many days and nights studying, venting on the phone, having a girls night out. She was one of the few people I trusted to watch over my fur babies. She is an amazing human being, friend, daughter, wife, sister, granddaughter, doggy momma's and colleague. She is someone with the biggest heart who is the most modest and humble and would never do this or think to ask for help.

She is the kind of person that will talk to you for 5 hours on the phone on a ride home so you aren't alone in the car, she would give the shirt off her back for a complete stranger, hold the door open for someone even if it meant she was late and bend over backwards for her patients and their humans always finding a way to help and never letting anyone hear her complain.

We may live clear across the country from each other now that we have graduated but she will always be one of my "Sister's"

She needs our help, her entire community does. The patients' she cares for, the students' her husband teaches, her family and all the help they give to their community.

Please help me to help the Strong's by donating whatever you can, sharing this far and wide, and praying for them and the community they call home.

100 percent of what is donated will go directly to Emily and James Strong to help them rebuild their home, buy supplies, clothing, food, cleaning supplies and whatever else she and her husband need to find stability again.
