Helping The Staff at Cottages of Paradise Point

Hi, my name is Dennis Greenspon. My wife Lisa and I are the owners of what used to be the Cottages of Paradise Point. I'm sure most of you have already seen aerial photos and videos of the catastrophic damage Ian caused to our beautiful island get-a-way. Lisa & I have decided not to rebuild the cottages and we want to thank all those who have shared their thoughts and prayers with Lisa, me, and the staff who helped make the Cottages of Paradise Point as special and unique as it was over the last 20 years. It is expected to take months just to clean up the debris and restore the island's power and other utilities. Then the task of repairing and rebuilding will take place, which will undoubtedly take years to complete. Our island will recover but I'm afraid it will never be the same.

Since so many of our guests have asked how they can help in this tragic time, I have set up this GoFundMe page for the Cottages of Paradise Point staff. They have all suffered in one way or another... one staff member fled their Fort Myers Beach home to escape the storm, only to find out that their home was destroyed by the storm along with all of their personal belongings and car. Another suffered severe damage to their home and lost both of their vehicles. They have nothing other then the generosity of their friends and family at this time. Unfortunately, these stories go on and on. All of our staff members are in need and will greatly appreciate any donation to this fund, as they struggle to move forward in these hard times.
