Helping the Schaper Family after car accident
Donation protected
On Saturday, January 8th, 2022, Loren Schaper and her children, Nate and Noah, had a car accident that caused her vehicle to flip, leaving her unable to stand. The children had minor injuries and were released to family members after treatment.
Loren broke her back and was taken by helicopter to MUSC Health University Medical Center in Charleston, SC, where she underwent surgery on her spine the next day. Her husband, Blake, was at National Guard Duty Drill when the accident occurred. So, their young boys were taken to another hospital, treated for their injuries, and were released to family members. Loren is currently still in the hospital in South Carolina, but will be transported to Shepherd Center in Atlanta within the next week, where she will undergoing in-patient rehabilitation for the next 6-8 weeks.
Blake will stay with Loren at the hospital, while she is recovering, and the their children will be with family in the Hartwell area. Over the next 2 months, Blake will have extensive traveling to Shepherd Center (100 plus mile trip by car) to be with Loren in Atlanta and their children in Hartwell. The financial expenses will increase quickly with travel and food expenses. That is why I’m starting this GoFundMe page for Blake and Loren.
Any donations will go directly to the Schaper Family.
