Helping the Santana Family Heal

Donation protected
Last week forever changed the Santana family.  After a few days of feeling bad, Maximo (Uncle Junior) went to the hospital.  He thought it was high blood pressure or maybe a virus.  Tests discovered his heart is only functioning at 10%. After a scary 24 hours, he was stabilized and continues to be monitored in ICU.  He has a long journey ahead.  Doctors are remaining optimistic that the proper medication will get his heart rate down consistently and hopefully give it time to get strong again.  There are no surgeries for this.  He will be on bed rest indefinitely and need to wear a life vest, once released, to avoid something bad.  In the meantime, we are hoping to raise a little money to offset the costs of being off work, and so forth.  Any help is much appreciated in this time of need.
