Greetings:
For over four years, we have been part of a ministry that has been providing financial assistance to 29 families, to a total of 100 to110 poor and needy individuals in Ethiopia partnering with a church called Kotebe Meserete Kiristos Church (KMKC) in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
Included in this ministry are orphans, parents that cannot provide for their children, adults with serious life threating conditions, and elderlies in the sunset of their life abandoned to themselves.
Due to the global pandemic, this ministry faced tremendous financial difficulties and is forced to end the support that it has been providing for the last several years. The families we have been supporting are now in danger of being evicted and becoming homeless.
With much discussion and prayers, the committee members of this ministry have been exploring every possible option to rescue the ministry and spare these families from becoming victims of homelessness. In light of this, the committee in consultation with the Church in Ethiopia (KMKC), has come up with a micro business plan that is a self-sustaining and income generating enterprise.
The business proposal constitutes preparing, selling, and delivering Ethiopian staple foods including coffee, tea, etc. The business has the potential to help the poor and needy become self-sufficient and to break the cycle of poverty. It will provide employment opportunities to those family members who are able to work and will continue to support individuals that are not able to meet life’s challenges.
It is with this in mind we appeal to you on behalf of the poor and destitute to help us raise one-time funds to make this project a reality.
Would you help us reach our goal of raising the one-time funds by donating to this life saving ministry? No donation is too small, every dollar raised brings us closer to reaching our goal! On behalf of the poor and needy we appeal to you to take part in this life changing ministry and make a positive impact on our poor and hungry people of Ethiopia.

የእግዚአብሄር ሰላም ከእናንት ጋር ይሁን። ባለፉት አራት አመታት በኢትዮጲያ ላሉ ፪፱ ቤተሰቦች በአጠቃላይ ደግሞ ፻ እስከ ፩፲ ለሚደርሱ ግለሰቦች ከኮተቤ መሰረተ ክርስቶስ ቤተ ክርስቲያን ጋር በመተባበር እርዳታ ስናደርግላቸው ቆይተናል።
እነዚህ ተረጂ ወገኖቻችን እራሳቸውን ማስተዳደር የማይችሉ የቤተሰብ አስተዳዳሪዎች፣ ወላጅ አልባ ህጻናትና ወጣቶች በጤና እክል ምክንያት መስራት ያልቻሉ ግለሰቦችንና በእድሜ የገፉ ኣዛውንቶች ያጠቃልላል።
በአለም ላይ ከመጣው የኮሮና ወረርሽኝ የተነሳ አገልግሎቱ በገጠመው የገንዘብ እጥረት አገልግሎቱን በመቋረጡ ሲረዱ የነበሩ ቤተሰቦችና ገለሰቦች ህልውና አደጋ ላይ ወድቋል ። ከዚህም የተነሳ የሚበሉት የሌላቸው፣ ከመኖሪያቸውም ሊፈናቀሉ በቋፍ ያሉና በአስቸኳይ እርዳታ የሚፈልጉ ሆነዋል።
በዚህ አገልግሎት የተሳትፍን ግለሰቦችም ይህንን ጉዳይ ግን ቸል ብለን ልናልፈው አልፈቀድንም። በጉዳይ አየጸልይናን መፍትሄ ስናፈላልግ ቆይተን የምንችለውን ሁሉ አድርገን በችግራቸው ልንደርስላቸው ወሰንን።
ይህንን ጉዳይ ለማስኬድ በግዚያዊነት የተሰባሰብን ግለሰቦች በኢትዮጲያ ካለችው ቤተ ክርስቲያን ጋር በመመካከር ተረጂዎቹ እራሳቸውን የሚችሉበትና ለሌላም የሚተርፉበትን የስራ ፈጠራ ሃሳብ ነድፈን በጋራ በመንቀሳቀስ መሰረታዊ አቅርቦትና በቀላሉ ሊከፈቱና በብዙዎችም ዘንድ ተፈላጊነት ባላቸው የምግብ አቅርቦት ላይ ያተኮረ እንዲሆን ተሰማማን።
ተረጆዎቹን የራሳቸውን እንዲችሉ ስንረዳቸው ከተረጂነትና ከድህነት መውጣት ብቻ ሳይሆን እራሳቸውን በገቢ እንዲችሉ እድል ይሰጣቸዋል። ይህ አጋጣሚ ከ ተረጂዎችም መካከል የስራ እድል ከመፍጠር አልፎ እነሱም የዜግነት አስተዋጽኦ እንዲያደርጉ የረዳቸዋል ።
ዛሬ በድሃ ወገኖቻችን ስም ወደ እናንተ የመጣነው ብዙዎችን ከድህነትና ከተረጂነት የሚያወጣ አንድ ግዜ የሚሰበሰብ የገንዘብ ማሰባሰብ ላይ እንድትረዱን ለመጠየቅ ነው።
እባካች ሁ በአንድ ግዜ ተሰብስቦ ለዚሁ አገልግሎት ሙሉ በሙሉ የሚውለውን የገንዘብ ማሰባሰብ ዘመቻ ደግፉን።
የምትረዱን የገንዘቡ መጠን ትንሽ ይሁን ትልቅ ሁሉም ጠቃሚ ነው። ሃሳቡን ሌሎች አውቀውት በዚህ የተቀደሰ ስራ እንዲሳተፉም ሼር በማድረግም ልትረዱንም ትችላላችሁ።
አንድ ማረጋገጥ የምንፈልግላች ሁ ነገር የሚሰበሰበው ገግንዘብ መቶ በመቶ ለዚሁ አላማ የምናውል ሲሆን፣ በቀጣይም የደረስንበትን እየተከታተልን እናሳውቃችዃለን።
እነዚህ ተረጂ ወገኖቻችን እራሳቸውን ማስተዳደር የማይችሉ የቤተሰብ አስተዳዳሪዎች፣ ወላጅ አልባ ህጻናትና ወጣቶች በጤና እክል ምክንያት መስራት ያልቻሉ ግለሰቦችንና በእድሜ የገፉ ኣዛውንቶች ያጠቃልላል።
