Helping the Parsons pay for medical bills

Hi my name is Noah More, I’m starting this fundraiser for my little brother who was diagnosed with Wilms disease. Jon was just a normal little kid when one day he had a severe stomach ache. We went to the emergency room and they found a mass on his left kidney.

The next day November 25th,2021 we were sent to children’s hospital in Winnipeg where they confirmed the mass and told us that it is more than likely cancer. We were admitted to the kids cancer ward waiting for surgery.

November 30th they removed the kidney and tumour. It was huge. It was 3 times the usual size. They sent the tissue away to see if it was indeed cancer and December 3,2021 we were told that yes it was.

They told us that Jon would need radiation and chemotherapy. Starting December 13 he started both. The radiation was intense. As of now Jon has 20 weeks of chemo left. Mom (Amelia) is the primary caregiver as she and Jon live by Brandon. Mike (dad) is still up

North working at the mine taking care of the other brother. Mom is off work right now. Jon has been readmitted to the hospital a couple times since December 23,2021 when he was discharged. Over New Years we were hit with covid. Right now we are back at children’s in Winnipeg and will be here for a while. Jon had to get a feeding tube as he wasn’t able to maintain his weight.
