I’m creating this GoFundMe for a family who means far more to us than just “friends.” Tyler and Brittany Bruce are our chosen family they are the people who are always there, the ones who love our kids like their own, the ones we share life with in every real, meaningful way.

They have held us up through hard moments, celebrated our wins, and shown us the kind of loyalty you don’t find often. They are family in every sense that counts and that is why I’m doing this for them now.

This past Sunday, their world changed in an instant.

Tyler Bruce was involved in a freak football accident that left him with multiple broken ribs and a collapsing lung. He was rushed to the hospital, where doctors had to insert a chest tube to help him breathe. He is still in the hospital, fighting through intense pain, facing a long and uncertain road to recovery.

Brittany is trying her best to stay strong for their three young children; Carter, Jaxon, and Brooklynn but the emotional weight is crushing. The kids miss their dad and are struggling to understand why he can’t come home yet. Watching this family try to stay afloat through something so sudden and traumatic has been heartbreaking.

Tyler and Britt have given so much love, support, and stability to the people around them — and now, they desperately need ours.
