My Name is Nancy Hernandez. On Thursday April 3rd around 7:51 PM , I received a Facetime call from my daughter’s mother-in-law with my 2 yrs old grandson Kylian on her arm outside the house informing me that my daughter's Lexi and her husband Krys’ home was on fire. About 30 minutes after they left the home to go to the hospital because she was already in labor, Lexi received a call from a neighbor saying they saw smoke coming from the house and had called 911.

My daughter was already in the hospital in labor and couldn’t leave, but my son-in-law rushed home as fast as possible to get the dogs out—Megumi, Gojo, and their new puppy, Riolu. Tragically, he arrived too late. By the time he got there, the fire department was attempting to resuscitate them, but they couldn’t be saved. It all happened so quickly.

The home was completely destroyed, and they lost everything—their beloved family pets and all the baby items they had prepared. While all of this was happening, my daughter was in the hospital, in labor, devastated and heartbroken.

Lexi gave birth to baby Isaiah on Friday at 2 a.m., and thankfully, both mom and baby are health.

I have created this gofund-me to ask for your support for the Morillo family. Anything you can give, no matter how small, will help. They have truly lost everything.
