Helping the Merrills

Hi! My name is April and I am raising money for the Merrills! As many of you may know, Dick has been in and out of the hospital for over a month. The ailments have varied over that time, but the biggest problem was an infection which they have figured out now is in his spine. Doctors say that this is a mystery and they are working hard to solve it! Dick is now in a VT hospital, and so Joan is having to travel anytime she visits.

The Merrills have been a huge part of my life. I have had both of them as teachers. When I think about memories from my youth, they are both a huge part of them. They have spent so much of their lives giving to the Gorham/Berlin community and now I am hoping that we can give back!

Hopefully we can help them pay for the mounting medical bills that will come their way, gas and food for travel, or even an AirBnB for Joan to be closer to Dick!!
