Helping the McKinney Masonry Family Rebuild

, my name is Brian Kehoe, a good friend of Scott and Jamie McKinney. On the evening of February 12, 2022, just minutes after Scott and Bryson left their shop and went to run an errand at the hardware store a fire started within the shop/office. The McKinney Family lost nearly all of the contents within the building; race equipment, vehicles, personal belongings and work/office equipment, thankfully no one was hurt. This wasn’t just a shop/office, this was the home of their business, the place that Scott and Bryson would go to work and have fun working on racing equipment, cars, trucks, motorcycles and ATV’s. Most importantly, this was the place that Scott worked out of and made a living for his family.

Ten years earlier, Scott and Jamie made a big decision for Scott to chase his dreams and pour his heart into owning his own business. After years of hard work and dedication McKinney Masonry is one of the most successful masonry companies in Central New York. So, you can imagine what it took to build this business over the last 10 years, and what it will take to rebuild it in a short amount of time to be able to get back to work and provide for his family.

This devastating event has definitely thrown a road block at them. They have the motivation and passion to rebuild, but sadly their insurance isn’t going to cover everything. If you know Scott, Jamie, Lyric, Bryson and Macie, you know this family would do anything for anyone at a drop of a dime. We, as their friends, family and community now need to pull together to be there for them to help them recover from this tragedy. Anything you are able to do is greatly appreciated.
