My name is Zachary Williams and I work at Ottawa Paramedic Service with Chris Lackey. I recently learned of news that Chris and his family suffered a fire at their home. Thankfully the family and pets made it out safely, fire/smoke and water damage have made the home uninhabitable and in need of significant repairs. I would like to provide my coworkers and any generous souls an avenue to help support Chris and his family through this.

Chris has been a paramedic for 25 years. With the Ottawa Paramedic Service for 10+ years, currently working as an Acting Superintendant as well as in frontline operations. He also works with the Peer Support team helping his coworkers in crisis. As his work partner for 2+ years I’ve seen how truly good of a person he is. He’s caring, kind and compassionate, an amazing medic and a great father.

The raised funds will be provided to him and his family to support repairs of their house and help them return home as soon as they can.
