On 11/28/2020 Jeremy suffered a heart attack and was admitted to the hospital. Life saving Stents were placed and Jeremy, doing very well was sent home within just a few days. Unfortunately, once home Jeremy became very ill and tested positive for Covid-19 on 12/01/2020 and by 12/09/2020 was readmitted to the ICU. While Jeremy has put up a good fight it has not been enough to beat Covid. He was placed on a Ventilator on 12/15/2020. His body has adapted to the vent making it impossible for him to be removed. He is in dire need of a Trach at this point. The Trach can not be placed until he tests negative for Covid. Jeremy is now on day 29 of being Covid positive. It is a waiting game that no one should ever have to endure. Once the Trach is placed Jeremy will be in the hospital for an extended period of time and then will more than likely be sent to a long term rehab facility to receive Physical and Occupational Therapy as well as Trach care. He is looking at many, many months of recovery. As of now Jeremy has missed a month of work which also means a month of no income for his family. Alisha can not do this alone. I have known Jeremy since he was 13 years old and I know he and Alisha are not ones to ask for help. They are the helpers!!!! I can't tell you how many times I have needed help with one thing or another and Jeremy was the first and sometimes the only one to step up. In one way or another Jeremy has been there for all of us and now it's our turn to be there for him. We not only can pray him through this, we can make damn sure his family survives financially and that he will still have a home to come home to when he is better. Alisha shouldn't have to worry about bills, food and keeping the lights on while going through one of the worst times in her and Jeremy's lives. Let's give her some peace of mind and knock out a few months worth of bills. One less thing on her overflowing plate. No donation is to small, even if it is just $10 or $20 it will add up and make a difference. It takes an Army to beat Covid. It's time for the Horn Army to step up and fight our way through this for our friend, our brother. From the Covington-Pike Bottoms to the Race Track I know together we can love and financially support them both through this. Please donate and donate weekly if you can. #HornStrong
